Tut: Ticket 4 U

 Ticket 4 U

This tutorial was written by me on April 22, 2010 using PSP 9.  All my tutorials assume you have some working knowledge of PSP and/or Animation Shop.

Supplies:

Tube of choice - I'm using the art of Keith Garvey.  You can purchase his tubes and a license at MyPSPTubes.

Scrap Kit - I'm using Sweet Indulgence's portion of the "Foreplay" store collab from Underground Scraps

Template - I'm using Template #20 from Cheri at Wild Creationz.  You can download this template from her blog here.

Mask of choice

Font of choice - I'm using Ribbons

Filters:  Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow, Redfield Lattice Composer Riffles Needled

To begin open your mask, tube, and template in PSP - minimize your tube and mask

1.  On your template - image - canvas size - 700 x 700 white background - using magic wand click inside dark grey rectangle - copy/paste Paper 3 as new layer - selections - invert - delete - effects - Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow - fat - color from kit - with magic wand click inside the gradient area - adjust - add/remove noise - add noise 100% uniform monochrome - dropshadow

2.  Click inside left grey rectangle with magic wand - copy/paste Paper 2 as new layer - selections - invert - delete - selections - select none - effects - Redfield Lattice Composer - click on present dropdown choose Riffles Needled default - enter - repeat for right grey rectangle - choose 2 word art elements from kit - resize - rotate as needed - colorize if needed - copy/paste as new layers - position one over one rectangle layer - repeat for the other side - apply an inner bevel of choice to each word art layer - dropshadow (See my tag for reference)

3.  On rectangle frame layers - click with magic wand - copy/paste Paper 1 as new layer - selections - invert - delete - dropshadow

4.  On grey circle layer - click with magic wand - copy/paste Paper 1 as new layer - apply same Redfield effect as above - on Circle frame layer - click with magic wand - copy/paste Paper 2 as new layer - selections - invert - delete - apply same noise filter - dropshadow

5.  Copy/paste your tube as new layer - duplicate - move duplicate layer below frame layer - with eraser tool erase any parts of tube hanging below frame - dropshadow this tube layer - on top tube layer - erase any parts you don't want showing - DO NOT dropshadow this layer

6.  Copy/paste Element 3 as new layer - resize - position and dropshadow

7.  On background layer - copy/paste paper of choice as new layer - resize to cover canvas - layers - new mask layer - from image - find your mask - apply - merge group - resize mask if needed - apply same noise filter as above

8.  Close white background - crop/resize tag - add copyright/license and name - save as .png.

That's it!!  Thank you for trying my tutorial!!

Hello! I'm a SAHM of 2 beautiful children Wyatt & Caitlyn and have been married to my wonderful husband Everett for 9 years. I live in a small town in NW Florida and am owned by several miniature dachshunds. I've been PSPing for 7 years now and just now decided to put my tags into tutorial form. When I'm not busy taking care of my various animals which not only is dachshunds, but includes various types of fowl and poultry I am playing with my kids or at my computer.
