Tut: Lottsa Sweet Love

Lottsa Sweet Love

This tutorial was written by me on April 28, 2010 using PSP 9.  All my tutorials assume you have some working knowledge of PSP and/or Animation Shop.

Supplies:

4 tubes of choice - I'm using the beautiful ladies of Ismael Rac.  You can purchase his tubes/license at Artistic Minds.
Scrap Kit - I'm using a great PTU kit from Alika's Scraps called "Sweet Choco".  Visit her blog to find out where you can purchase this awesome kit.

Mask of choice

Font of choice - I'm using Precious which you can find here.

Filters - Xero Porcelain

To begin open tubes and mask in PSP - minimize for now

1.  New image 700 x 700 white background - copy/paste Frame 2 as new layer - click inside frame with magic wand - selections - modify - expand by 5 - copy/paste Paper 5 as new layer - move below frame layer - leave selected - copy/paste your first tube as new layer - resize - position in first frame - selections - invert - delete - repeat for other 2 frames using 2 other tubes - select none - merge your tube layers together - dropshadow - effects - xero porcelain default settings - apply - dropshadow frame layer

2.  Close out white background layer - layers - merge visible - move frame towards the bottom of canvas

3.  Copy/paste your main tube image as new layer - resize - move below frame layer - position - dropshadow

4.  Copy/paste Flower 3 as new layer - move below your frame layer - position - dropshadow (See my tag for reference)

5.  Copy/paste another flower as new layer - resize - position in front of tube layer but behind frame - position - duplicate - image - mirror - position - dropshadow both layers - copy/paste another flower as new layer -resize - position in the center of other 2 flower layers - dropshadow

6.  Copy/paste any other elements you want - resize - position on tag - dropshadow each layer

7.  On background layer - copy/paste paper of choice - apply your mask - merge group

8.  Close background layer - crop/resize tag to your preference - add copyright/license information and name - save as .png

That's it!!  Thank you for trying my tutorial!!!

Hello! I'm a SAHM of 2 beautiful children Wyatt & Caitlyn and have been married to my wonderful husband Everett for 9 years. I live in a small town in NW Florida and am owned by several miniature dachshunds. I've been PSPing for 7 years now and just now decided to put my tags into tutorial form. When I'm not busy taking care of my various animals which not only is dachshunds, but includes various types of fowl and poultry I am playing with my kids or at my computer.
