Tut: Grandma's Cookies

Grandma's Cookies

This tutorial was written by me on April 19, 2010 using PSP 9.  All my tutorials assume you have some working knowledge of PSP and/or Animation Shop.
Supplies:

Tube of choice (optional)

Scrap kit - I'm using Sweet Indulgence's portion of the "Candy Shoppe" store collab from Enchanted Dreams Boutique.  You can purchase this awesome kit here. (Posers included)

Mask of choice - I'm using 0mask046_LT

Font of choice - I'm using AL Heavenly

To begin open mask and tube/poser in PSP and minimize for now.  This is a very simple tut so let's get started:

1.  New image 700 x 700 white background - new raster layer - selections - select all - copy/paste Paper 3 into selection - selections - select none - layers - new mask layer - from image - find your mask okay - merge group

2.  Copy/paste Element 18 as new layer - resize - rotate 15 right all layers unchecked - position on tag - with a font of choice stroke null fill black type out a text of choice ( I used a sugar cookie recipe, but you can put anything you want) - convert to raster - rotate 15 right position on Element - merge down - dropshadow

3.  Copy/paste Element 17 as new layer - resize - image - flip - image - mirror - position on tag - dropshadow

4.  Copy/paste Element 12 as new layer - resize - position on tag - dropshadow - copy/paste Element 14 as new layer - resize - rotate just a bit and position over bow - using eraser tool erase just a bit of the pin so that it appears to be going through the bow knot - dropshadow

5.  Copy/paste Element 9 as new layer - resize - image - mirror - position on bottom right corner of recipe - dropshadow

6.  Copy/paste your tube/poser as new layer - resize - position on the bottom left corner of recipe - dropshadow

7.  Copy/paste Element 5 as new layer - resize - position so it appears to be in your tube/poser's hand - dropshadow

8.  Back on Mask layer - copy/paste Element 15 as new layer - resize - position in the top left corner of tag - duplicate - image - mirror - image - flip - dropshadow both layers

9.  Close background layer - crop/resize tag to your preference - add name and copyright/license - save as .png.

That's it!!  Thank you for trying my tutorial!!!
