Tut: On The Naughty Side

On The Naughty Side

This tutorial was written by me on April 5, 2010 using Paint Shop Pro 9.  All my tutorials assume you have some knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

2 tubes of choice ( one laying down & one standing up work best) - I'm using the beautiful work of Barbara Jensen.  Do not use without a license.  You can purchase one from her site here.

Scrap kit - I'm using Angel's Designz part of  "Naughty or Nice".  You can purchase this kit here.

Mask of choice
Font - I'm using PlayToy

1.  Open new image 700 x 700 white - copy/paste Frame 1 as new layer - image - rotate - all layers unchecked 90 right - resize - adjust - sharpness - sharpen -

2.  Click inside frame with magic wand - selections - modify - expand by 3 - copy/paste Paper 16 as new layer - selections - invert - delete - leave selected

3.  Copy/paste Mesh 2 as new layer - delete - copy/paste Stripper Pole as new layer - resize - position - delete - copy/paste Lights as new layer - resize - position - delete on that layer - copy/paste your first tube as new layer - resize if needed - position so it appears she is leaning against pole - delete - selections - select none - dropshadow each layer

4.  Copy/paste Tassle Key Chain as new layer - resize - position on right top corner of frame - dropshadow - with eraser tool, erase the bits showing on the top corner bead so it appears the tassle is hooked ( see my tag) - copy/paste BowWBuckle 1 as new layer - resize - position over the tassle - using eraser tool do the same with this layer - dropshadow
5.  Copy/paste shackles as new layer - resize - position on bottom right corner of frame - copy/paste Candle Votives as new layer - resize position - dropshadow - back on shackles layer - duplicate - move original layer below Votives layer - back on top Shackles layer - erase bits of the shackle so it appears to be weaving out of the Votives (See my tag) - dropshadow bottom Shackles layer

6.  Copy/paste Ribbon 2 - resize & rotate - position on top left corner of frame - adjust - sharpness - sharpen - dropshadow - copy/paste Playboy keychain - resize - position over ribbon - erase a bit of the ring so it appears to be hooked to the bow - dropshadow

7.  Back on the tube layer - copy/paste your other tube ( should be below frame layer, but above the other tube layer) - position - duplicate - move duplicate layer above frame layer - on bottom tube layer erase any bits hanging below the frame - on top tube layer erase any bits you don't want showing ( See my tag) - dropshadow bottom tube layer only

8.  Open mask in PSP - minimize - on background layer - copy/paste Paper 12 as new layers - layers - new mask layer - from image - find your mask - apply - merge group

9.  Close white layer - crop/resize tag to your preference - add copyright/license & your name - save as .png.

That's it!!  Thank you for trying my tutorial!!

Hello! I'm a SAHM of 2 beautiful children Wyatt & Caitlyn and have been married to my wonderful husband Everett for 9 years. I live in a small town in NW Florida and am owned by several miniature dachshunds. I've been PSPing for 7 years now and just now decided to put my tags into tutorial form. When I'm not busy taking care of my various animals which not only is dachshunds, but includes various types of fowl and poultry I am playing with my kids or at my computer.
