Tut: I Do Bad Things

I Do Bad Things

This tutorial was written by me on April 23, 2010 using PSP 9.  All my tutorials assume you have some working knowledge of PSP and/or Animation Shop.

Supplies:

Tube of choice - I'm using the gorgeous art of Jose Cano.  You can purchase his tubes and a license at MyPSPTubes.

Scrap Kit - I'm using Gothic Witch Creations' part of the "Foreplay" store collab available from Underground Scraps.

Template - I'm using Template 343 from Missy at Divine Intentionz.  You can download this template here.

Mask of choice
Font - I'm using CAC Pinafore which you can download here.

To begin open mask, tube, and template in PSP - minimize your tube and mask

1.  On Template - image - canvas size - 700 x 700 - on background layer - floodfill white - dropshadow your glitter circle layer

2.  Highlight your large circle layer - click with magic wand - copy/paste a paper of choice from kit - selections - invert - delete - delete original layer - repeat for each layer using a different paper each time stopping when you get to the word art layer

3.  Highlight your frame background paper - copy/paste your tube as new layer - duplicate - move duplicate above frame layer - using eraser tool erase any parts that you don't want showing - repeat for bottom tube layer - dropshadow bottom tube and frame layer , rectangle layers, and small circle layers

4.  Copy/paste cuffs1 as new layers - resize - image - flip - position on tag - dropshadow

5.  Copy/paste whip 2 as new layer - resize - position on tag - dropshadow

6.  Copy/paste bow 3 as new layer -resize - dropshadow - position on tag - copy/paste skullchain 2 as new layer - resize - position on bow - dropshadow both layers

7.  Copy/paste lavalamp 2 as new layer - resize - position on tag - dropshadow

8.  On Word art layer - selections -select all - float - defloat - new raster layer - floodfill with a color from tube - selections - select none - delete original layer - dropshadow - add a slight gradient glow

9.  On white background layer - copy/paste another paper as new layer - layers - new mask layer - from image - find your mask and apply - merge group

10.  Close out background - crop/resize your tag - add copyright/license and name - save as .png

That's it!!  Thank you for trying my tutorial!!

Hello! I'm a SAHM of 2 beautiful children Wyatt & Caitlyn and have been married to my wonderful husband Everett for 9 years. I live in a small town in NW Florida and am owned by several miniature dachshunds. I've been PSPing for 7 years now and just now decided to put my tags into tutorial form. When I'm not busy taking care of my various animals which not only is dachshunds, but includes various types of fowl and poultry I am playing with my kids or at my computer.
