Tut: Walk With Me

Walk With Me

This tutorial was written by me on May 3, 2010 using PSP 9.  All my tutorials assume you have some working knowledge of PSP and/or Animation Shop.

Supplies:

Tube of choice - I'm using the beautiful art of Anna Marine.  You can purchase her tubes/license at Creative Minds.

Scrap Kit - I'm using a great PTU kit from Mystee of Intoxxikated Intentionz called "True Blood".  You can purchase this kit here.

Mask of choice

Font of choice - I'm using Morpheus which you can get from here.

To begin open up mask and tube in PSP and minimize for now - new image 700 x 700 white background
1.  With your preset tool , oval, line style barb wire, size 4, fill null, foreground a color from kit, draw out an oval ( see my tag for size) - objects - align - center in canvas - convert to raster - add an inner bevel of choice

2.  With magic wand click inside oval - selections - modify - expand by 4 - c/p Paper 25 as new layer - resize by 20% - selections - invert - delete - move below frame layer - leave selected

3.  C/P your tube as new layer - position in oval - delete - leave selected

4.  C/P element 29 as new layer - position towards bottom of oval - delete - select none - move element and tube below oval layer - dropshadow tube, element, and frame

5.  C/P element 31 as new layer - resize - position on right side of oval - duplicate - resize again - position on top of other flower - dropshadow both layers - merge together - duplicate - image - flip - position ( see my tag)

6.  C/P element 38 as new layer - resize - position on the top left of oval - dropshadow

7.  C/P element 16 as new layer - resize - rotate left 90 - position on left side of oval - duplicate - image - mirror - resize again - position - dropshadow both layers

8.  C/P element 3 as new layer - resize - position on bottom left of oval - dropshadow

9.  C/P element 15 as new layer - resize - position on bottom left of oval - dropshadow

10.  Add phrase or wording of choice - I used Moon Dance 2 and Morpheus font for my wording and the phrase comes from Season 2 of  True Blood - you can google True Blood quotes to find one

11.  On white background - c/p element 18 as new layer - position towards the top left of tag - duplicate - image - mirror - image - flip - dropshadow both layers

12.  C/P glitter 2 as new layer - position towards the top right of tag - duplicate - image - mirror - image flip

13.  Back on white background - c/p paper of choice - resize 20% - apply your mask - merge group - repeat using different paper - merge these 2 mask layers together - duplicate - image mirror - merge together

14.  Close off white background - crop/resize tag to your preference - add copyright/license information and name - save as .png.

That's it!!  Thank you for trying my tutorial!!

Hello! I'm a SAHM of 2 beautiful children Wyatt & Caitlyn and have been married to my wonderful husband Everett for 9 years. I live in a small town in NW Florida and am owned by several miniature dachshunds. I've been PSPing for 7 years now and just now decided to put my tags into tutorial form. When I'm not busy taking care of my various animals which not only is dachshunds, but includes various types of fowl and poultry I am playing with my kids or at my computer.
