Sweet 'n' Sassy

This tutorial was written by me on May 23, 2010 using PSP 9.  All my tutorials assume some working knowledge of PSP and/or Animation Shop.

Supplies:

Tube of choice - I'm using the beautiful work of Keith Garvey.  You can purchase tubes/license at MyPSPTubes.

Scrap Kit - I'm using a beautiful PTU kit from Alika's Scraps called "Sweet Surprise".  Visit her blog to find out where to purchase this great kit.

Mask of choice

Font of choice - I'm using Mon Amour Script

To begin open tube and mask in PSP - minimize for now - new image 700 x 700 white background

1.  C/P Frame 1 as new layer - resize - click inside with magic wand - selections - modify - expand by 5 - c/p Paper 5 as new layer - resize - invert - delete - select none - click inside frame again - c/p tube as new layer - resize if needed - invert - with eraser tool erase any part of tube hanging outside of frame - select none - dropshadow frame and tube

2.  C/P Flower 6 as new layer - resize - duplicate 2x for a total of 3 - arrange the flowers in a line on the right side of tag ( see mine for reference) - dropshadow each layer 

3.  C/P Frame 6 as new layer - rotate 90 right - resize if needed - position on right side of other frame above flowers - click inside frame openings with magic wand - selections - modify - expand by 5 - c/p Paper 3 as new layer - selections - invert - delete - c/p tube as new layer - position - delete - select none - dropshadow frame and tube layers - change properties on tube to luminance(l) 

4.  C/P Heart String 2 as new layer - resize - position on tag - resize - dropshadow

5.  C/P Flower 2 as new layer - resize - position on bottom left of frame - dropshadow - c/p Flower 1 as new layer - resize - position - dropshadow

6.  C/P Butterfly 1 as new layer - resize - rotate - position on tag - dropshadow

7.  On white background - c/p paper of choice as new layer - apply mask - merge group - close of white background - crop/resize tag - add copyright/license and name - save as .png.
