Rock 'n' Roll Attitude

Rock 'n' Roll Attitude

This tutorial was written by me on May 8, 2010 using PSP 9.  All my tutorials assume you have some working knowledge of PSP and/or Animation Shop.

Supplies:

Tube of choice - I'm using the awesome art of Ismael Rac.  You can purchase his tubes/license at Artistic Minds.
Scrap Kit - I'm using a great PTU kit from Broken Sky Dezine called "Rocker Passion".  You can purchase this great kit here.

Template - I'm using a collab Template from Kylie and Kristin which you can download here at Creative Misfits.

Mask of choice - I'm using WSL Mask 221 from Chelle at Weescotslass Creations.  You can download from her blog here.

Font of choice - I'm using RoadRage which you can get from here. ( Sorry it is PTU)

Filters - Tramages Tow The Line

To begin open mask, tube and template in PSP - minimize your mask and tube

1.  On Template - image - canvas size 750 x 700 - floodfill background with white - close off copyright layer

2.  On Splat Layer - choose a color from your tube or kit - selections - select all - float - defloat - new raster layer - floodfill with color - select none - adjust - add/remove noise - add noise 100% gaussian - delete original layer - dropshadow

3.  On SCircle 1 layer - selections - select all - float - defloat - c/p paper of choice as new layer - selections - invert - delete - select none - delete original layer - dropshadow - repeat for your other layers - on the tramages rectangle layer - apply your tramages Tow The Line filter on your paper layer - play with the settings until you get something you like

4.  Highlight your top circle frame layer - c/p Stars element - image - mirror - resize if desired - position on right side of template - dropshadow

5.  C/P your tube as new layer - position over circle layers ( see my tag ) - dropshadow - with eraser tool very carefully any part that is hanging below your circle layers

6.  Highlight your star back layer - selections - select all - float - defloat - c/p your tube again as new layer - resize - position - selections - invert - delete - dropshadow

7.  C/P drumset as new layer - resize - position on tag - dropshadow - bring to top

8.  C/P brad of choice as new layer - position on tag - dropshadow

9.  On background layer - c/p paper of choice as new layer - apply mask - merge group - c/p a different paper as new layer - apply mask again - merge group - image - flip - merge both layers together

10. C/P chainlink as new layer - position towards the top left of tag - duplicate - image - mirror - image - flip

11.  Close of white background - crop/resize tag to your preference - add copyright/license and name - save as .png.

That's it!!  Thank you for trying my tutorial!!

Hello! I'm a SAHM of 2 beautiful children Wyatt & Caitlyn and have been married to my wonderful husband Everett for 9 years. I live in a small town in NW Florida and am owned by several miniature dachshunds. I've been PSPing for 7 years now and just now decided to put my tags into tutorial form. When I'm not busy taking care of my various animals which not only is dachshunds, but includes various types of fowl and poultry I am playing with my kids or at my computer.
