A Fairy's Dream

This tutorial was written by me on August 12 using PSP X4.  All my tutorials assume you have some working knowledge of PSP and/or Animation Shop.

Supplies:

Tube of Choice - I'm using the beautiful fairies of Amy Brown.  You can purchase her tubes and license at CDO.

Scrap Kit of Choice - I'm a using beautiful kit from Lexi Creationz called "Love Eternal".  Visit her blog here to find out how to get this great kit and her other amazing creations.

Mask of Choice - I'm using mask 495 from Insatiable Dreams.  You can download this mask here.

Font of choice - I'm using Monika

To begin open your tube and mask in PSP - open a new 700 x 700 white image

1.  Copy/paste frame 3 as new layer - resize - with magic wand click inside frame - selections - modify - expand by 6 - c/p paper 6 as new layer - selections - invert - delete - deselect

2.  Copy/paste clock as new layer - resize - position above paper layer inside frame - drop shadow - copy/paste sconce as new layer - resize - position just below clock ( see my tag) - drop shadow - duplicate for a total of 2 more times - position how you want inside frame ( again see my tag) - drop shadow frame

3.  Copy/paste chair as new layer - resize - position on lower right corner of frame below frame layer - drop shadow - c/p your tube as new layer - position above chair layer so it appears she is sitting in the chair - once happy duplicate - move duplicate layer above frame layer - with eraser tool erase any parts that you don't want showing - drop shadow original layer

4.  Copy/paste sparkles as new layer - position - do not drop shadow

5.  Copy/paste ribbon 1 as new layer - rotate and position on bottom of frame - drop shadow - copy/paste pearl string 2 as new layer - position on top of frame - duplicate - move duplicate to bottom of frame - using eraser tool erase parts of string so it appears it weaves through ribbon - drop shadow both pearl strings

5.  Copy/paste feathers as new layer - resize - position on bottom right of frame - drop shadow

6.  Copy/paste hearts1 as new layer - resize - position on bottom left of frame - drop shadow - copy/paste perfume as new layer - position on frame - drop shadow

7.  Copy/paste flower 2 as new layer - position on frame - drop shadow

8.  On white background layer - copy/paste glitter splatter as new layer - position - duplicate - image - mirror

9.  Back on white background - copy/paste paper of choice - layers - new mask layer - from image - apply mask and delete original mask layer - merge group

10.  Close out white background - crop/resize tag - add copyright/license and name - save as .png
