PTU TUT: Blue Elegance



Blue Elegance

This tutorial was written by me on August 13 using PSPX4.  All my tutorials assume you have some working knowledge of PSP and/or Animation Shop.

Supplies:

Tube of choice:  I'm using the beautiful art of Jamie Kidd.  You can purchase tubes/license at CDO.

Scrap Kit of Choice : I'm using the beautiful "Avenue" kit from Jackie's Jewels.  Visit her blog HERE to get this kit and her other amazing creations.

Mask of Choice : I'm using 554 from Insatiable Dreams.  You can get this mask HERE.

Font of choice  or the one I'm using Sh*t Happens.  You can get it HERE.

1.  Open a new 700 x 700 image white - c/p Frame 3 as new layer - resize - with magic wand - click inside frame - selections - modify - expand by 6 - c/p paper 5 as new layer - position in frame - selections - invert - delete

2.  Click on frame layer - c/p floating flowers as new layer - position - c/p heart as new layer - resize - position on frame - drop shadow

3.  C/P flower 3 as new layer - resize - position on frame - duplicate - image - mirror - position - using eraser tool erase the stems on both layers - drop shadow - merge down

4.  C/P butterflies as new layer - resize - position - drop shadow

5.  C/P Flower brance 1 as new layer - resize if needed - rotate 90 right - position along right side of frame - duplicate - mirror - flip - rotate 90 left - position on bottom of frame towards right side - using eraser tool erase any stem showing - drop shadow both layers - merge down

6. C/P key as new layer - rotate - position on right corner of frame - c/p bird as new layer - position on frame - drop shadow both layers

7.  C/P tube as new layer - position resizing if needed - duplicate - move duplicate layer below frame layer - back on original tube layer - erase the parts you don't want showing - drop shadow bottom tube layer and frame

8.  On white background - c/p paper of choice - layers - new mask layer - from image - apply mask - delete original mask layer - merge group - using pick tool stretch and compress your mask layer to how you want - change opacity if you choose

9.  Close white background - crop/resize tag - add copyright/license info and name - save as .png
